Latest TAF collection
The EDR collection "taf" implements a "latest" query as defined in MET3SG MET SWIM OGC EDR Community Guidance and its Appendix A: Definition of Latest.
- Reports for individual aerodromes can be queried using a /locations query.
- The API returns reports in the form of individual XML files stored in a ZIP archive.
- Temporal filtering is available via the
datetimeparameter; in this case, the query represents the question: "Which reports were latest at the given datetime (interpreted relative to the issue time indicated in the report)?" - Stations can be filtered by spatial geometries (
/radius,/area,/cube,/corridorqueries). This is an IBL EDR feature, not covered by the MET3SG EDR Guidance document.
